Since she was small she has always tried to get to the microphone first at church so she could sing. She always loved karaoke and would beg for the mic. As a child, she lived a short time in Jacksonville, Fla., where her father's side of the family still resides. Heather and her mother moved backed to Ohio after her parents were divorced. When her mother remarried, Heather gained 5 stepbrothers and 1 stepsister. Growing up, Heather was very athletic and a bit of a tomboy, playing soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball and powder-puff football. She was also on the drill team and was a cheerleader. Her sophomore year of high school, Heather was named a Homecoming Attendant, and her senior year, she was named Miss Winter Wonderland Snow Queen. After entering the Miss Teen Groveport Pageant and winning, at age 13, Heather began modeling and participating in pageants on a regular basis. Venus Swimwear, Hawaiian Tropic, American Dream Festival and Miss Hooters of Ohio are some of the pageants that followed. Print work in calendars, magazines, playing cards, commercials and the 1999 Playboy College Edition followed as well. Although Heather loved modeling and being on the stage, she knew she needed an education to fall back on, so she put herself through college. Since she was funding her own education, Heather began at Columbus State Community College, and then moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she finished her Associate of Arts degree and graduated with honors from Cuyahoga Community College. Heather then transferred her credits to Case Western University where she majored in biology and studied pre-med. After learning, however, that the medical field was not for her, Heather transferred to Ohio State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in 2002. After graduating, Heather decided to move to Las Vegas, on her way to Los Angeles. Though she travels to Los Angeles often, Heather has lived in Vegas for nearly 5 years, having purchased her first home there. Heather has worked at the Palms Casino and Resort for the past 3 years, and has even dabbled in the entertainment club industry.
