He won the Recital Gold Medal at the 2002 Royal Bank Calgary International Organ Festival and Competition, and most recently, the 1st Grand Prix in the 2002 International Competition of Toulouse. Mr. Dubois currently teaches harmony and counterpoint at Angers National Conservatory where in 2005 he was appointed assistant-manager of the conservatory. He is also the titular organist at the Cathedral of Soissons. Mr. Dubois was invited by Daniel Roth, titular organist of St. Sulpice in Paris, to make a recording for JAV Recordings on the 1862 Cavaille-Coll Organ. This instrument is one of the great French builder's masterpieces which comes down to us as the builder left it. This disc will include organ music of Lizst, Duruflé, Rachmaninoff, Mozart and an improvisation by Mr. Dubois. It was recorded on May 13, 2006 and will be available in SACD surround sound in 2007.
